Technology is one of the things I am passionate about, but not technology just for the sake of it. I am excited about the opportunities technology is now bringing for new business models and social innovation. Digital Disruption is seen, variously, as an exciting opportunity or an industry endangering threat. Reports such as those released in recent years by the World Economic Forum, the Committee for Economic Development of Australia and the Foundation for Young Australians paint a stark picture of potential job losses and the need to rapidly re-orientate our education system and our economy to equip both the current workforce and our young people with the skills required for work throughout the Fourth Industrial Revolution. You can read more about the shifts required in higher education to prepare students for the future of work in a digitally disrupted economy on my blog.
I work with organisations to re-imagine products, business models, service offerings and product lines. But I don’t just do a few workshops, handover a report or ‘to-do’ list and run; I educate the people in your organisation on how to understand the digitally disrupted environment and how to design business models, service offerings and product lines that are relevant to this new environment.
I develop digital intelligence and design thinking, agile and iterative business processes, data driven decision making, and communication and collaboration skills among the teams in organisations that I work with. I identify and empower ways of working that help organisations to unlock data and improve decision making, innovation and productivity across the value chain. Get in touch if you’d like to see what I could do for you your organisation in this space.
